the Perks of Work

for those of you who don't know jason & i both work for the same company. different offices now & no not because we are together.

anyways, sometimes Classic has some pretty sweet, sweet perks. last night was one of those nights. jason & i love the los angeles lakers. jason more than me but still that is something we LOVE to do together. with the wedding this year we have had to cut WAY back on lakers tickets. only one game so far this season...serious sad lip. but, last night Classic delivered an amazing gift. we were able to attend Lakers Basketball 101. with that dandy little invite we were able to shoot shots on the court (j did, i didn't...can you say air ball if i had!), meet & take pictures with jordan farmar, phil jackson, & tex winter (created the triangle offense!), not to mention touring the locker room, dinner & Q&A with derek fisher, luke walton, michael cooper, jeannie buss, brian shaw & kurt rambis (plus the above people). OH i almost forgot...a picture with the lakers girls (more enjoyable for Jason) & the championship trophies. jason was like a kid in a candy store, a little boy on christmas morning after santa came...pretty sweet!

60 Days.

60 days from today...jason & i will be exchanging our marriage vows! we couldn't be more excited to soon share these sweet moments with our family & friends.

we have been busy the last few weeks working out all the details. invitations are done. they will be coming out this week & next (long story)...so keep your eyes out for green in your mail box. tuxedos - done. shoes, yep...got them. flowers have been changed & i am so excited about our florist (another long story) & the new look we have come up with. Sorry no sneak peaks! But, i totally think it is STUNNING! bridesmaids gifts - ordered, arrived & totally fantastic. Kissing balls for the three cutie pies...order & so sweet! wednesday my mom & dad & i will be heading to the dresser for my first fitting! i can't wait to try on my dress again. i know there is more that we have done the last few weeks but my mind is all over the place & i am struggling to stay focused. you know i have a REAL job too?? :)

yesterday was Marc's (jason's brother) 26th birthday! jason & i drove up to atascadero on Sunday to help him celebrate. waffles, a new outfit & cake...yum, yum, yum! i am so glad we were able to go up and see him for his birthday!

Happy Birthday to me!

27...yep, you read correctly! i cannot believe, i am now, officially in my LATE 20's. this is the first birthday i have felt old. so sad. hello...one more year & i have been out of high school for ten stinkin' years! honestly. it feels like i just graduated.

my bday is the 27th of December. isn't that like my golden birthday or something? same day as age?

anyways...another very special person also celebrates her birthday that day too! Happy 28th Birthday, Anna! Hope you guys had a fantastic weekend in San Diego celebrating!

for my birthday...i worked in the morning. which is totally WRONG. i don't think it should be legal. in all honesty is wasn't too bad but i would of course prefer to not work on my birthday.
after work, Jason & I met up with my parents at Disneyland! Dland was short lived when we realized that everyone else had the same plan. one ride & out. we ended up in california adventure the rest of the day. we had a blast. jason had never been...so that made it even more fun. my dad & mom waited for like a 1/2 just to get me the happy birthday button. the importance of the button you ask? all of the dland workers say "happy birthday, megan!" AND one random, kinda creepy park guest.
