Made in New York

it hit me. before beckham was even born actually. the theme for his first birthday could only be one thing. Made in New York. that's where his journey began, that's where we discovered our family was about to become three. new york holds such a special place in our hearts for so many reasons.

the day was filled celebrating our little mister. we were surrounded my our family & dear friends, soaking in the sweet boy that has blessed our lives this past year. i truly can't imagine our lives without our funny, mischievous, curious, loud, handsome son.

this is a heavy photo post. but, how do you expect me to pick?! he only turns ONE once!

i designed his invitation. what better than a playbill? it doesn't get more new york than that!

Holiday Round-Up | Santa's Village

i know my posts are usually filled with many words or a story of sorts. i have fallen so behind with blogging & my mind has felt like scrambled eggs lately, especially when it comes to writing a blog post. but, i really want to get these goodies up here. even if it is nearing the end of february.

just down the street from our house is the most magical place to see santa. it truly was a slice of holiday heaven served up on a chilly night. the lights twinkled & danced as we took the tiny train to see santa perched on his stage. the night was perfection, especially with the addition of the floods & the harpers.

beckham was sure curious about the red suit, big white bearded man. he just inspected his face & held his hand the whole time.

i know this is the 1st year of a new family tradition! enjoy a piece of our magical ho-ho-ho evening!

A Date NIght | Take Two

we went nearly 5 months without a night out without child. and just like that our streak ended with two nights in a row sans baby B. the evening following the stanford / usc game was andrea's 30th birthday celebration. jason & i were excited to celebrate the birthday girl & visited with friends without the distraction of our little jumping bean. no offense beckham! my mom & dad generously offered to babysit on a work night. thank you, thank you!

 we didn't grab many photos (like none of me & the hubs) of our night out on the town but we did enjoy a fabulous dinner & wouldn't have missed this milestone birthday for anything.

happy, happy birthday andrea! i can't wait to see what the next 30 years have in store! love you!!

a bridal shower

we all know how much i adore the details.

andrea loves tea. so what better way to celebrate than a a good old fashion tea party!
